- Best: Score and snap using a carbide-tipped scoring knife or utility knife (depending on the thickness of MAXTERRA sheathing). Fiber-cement shears (electric or pneumatic) can also be used.
- Better: Dust reducing circular saw or table saw equipped with HEPA vacuum extraction. Regular saw blades can be used, but a fiber-cement blade may reduce dust, produce cleaner cuts, and experience longer blade life. Support both ends of the board when cutting.
- Good: Dust reducing circular or table saw.
